Ziele
In March 2023, the new Diabeteszentrum Wienerberg (DZW) was opened as a pilot project. The DZW is part of the Klinik Landstraße, is the first Centre for Diabetes in Austria and applies innovative approaches in the treatment of patients with diabetes.
These innovations include amongst others a multi-disciplinary team, an international orientation of the treatment processes, empowerment of the patients and eHealth.
Umsetzung
The evaluation aims to answer the question if the new Centre for Diabetes leads to better treatments and outcomes for patients. The evaluation team analyses quantitative data and interviews patients, staff members and cooperation partners. Also focus groups and online survey are carried out. The evaluation aims to draw conclusions and develop recommendations in order to secure and further develop the quality of the centre.
