Objectives
The publication "How to plan and carry out projects: Older people as 'new volunteers'" was developed in 2010/11. This manual encourages seniors to work as volunteers in a self-defined, project-based manner. The publication raises awareness for this type of voluntary community work, gives an overview of the various possibilities in this field and provides information and tipps on how to plan and carry out projects.
The current project phase is dedicated to revise the existing manual, to issue a reprint and to disseminate the publication to the target group and to multipliers in order to encourage its practical use.
Implementation
queraum. cultural and social research is responsible for the entire project phase consisting of the manual's revision in form and content and the following dissemination activities.
