Objectives

This project was brought in by the Institute for Women’s and Men’s Health at the Fonds Gesundes Österreich and the Wiener Gesundheitsförderung, aims at reaching women, men and families who suffer from obesity through different health promotion activities and supports them with loosing weight, increasing physical activities and by developing a healthier lifestyle. The project focuses on social disadvantaged people, for example migrants, single parents and pensioners.

Implementation of the evaluation

Within the comprehensive evaluation there is going to be implemented a process evaluation and also a result evaluation. At the beginning of the project, aims & planning workshops with the project team will be realised to support the responsible project members with specifying the project goals and with defining indicators for measuring the achievement of objectives.

Within the total evaluation process reflection workshops will be offered to discuss questions right away when problems arise but also to reflect the process development and to plan together further steps.

The impact of the offer will be evaluated by quantitative and qualitative surveys of the participating adults and children. On one hand there will be used standardized and scientifically approved questionnaires. On the other hand the team of queraum develops a concept for evaluation workshops which are suitable for adults and children to get feedback of the participants thru interactive methods.
